HIND Al-Shaheen

From an early age, I was fascinated with shapes. My respect for cultural history and art have always pushed me to be where I am today. My journey started when I decided to study architectural engineering for 5 years, in which I learned how to design and articulate a space. 

Working as a Junior Architect has allowed me to hone in on my attention to detail while assisting the Architect manager on concepts designs. The Experience has equipped me to communicate with the clients’ needs and reflect that on their identity. This is something architectures is good at establishing a social and political status.

After that, I started to grow interest in telling a story. I always had love for movies, production design and how they articulate together to give a film the right atmosphere. That’s why I came to SCAD to study Production design. I have been part of films sets, themed entertainment projects and theater productions. I love telling a story through the visual design of a space. My goal is to bridge the knowledge that I have between science and art; it’s where the magic happens.
